Honor is preparing to launch a new X-series smartphone in China next month, according to a recent leak. The device is expected to be the Honor X80, which could arrive as the successor to the Honor X70.
The information was shared by tipster Digital Chat Station. While the tipster did not directly confirm the device name, the leaked specifications strongly point to the Honor X80.
The smartphone is tipped to feature a flat 6.8-inch LTPS display with 1.5K resolution. The panel is expected to offer improved sharpness and better viewing quality compared to standard Full HD screens.
According to the leak, the Honor X80 may run on a Snapdragon 6-series chipset. Reports suggest it could use the recently announced Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 processor.
One of the biggest highlights could be the battery. The phone is said to pack a massive 10,000mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging. If accurate, this would place the device among the smartphones with the largest battery capacities in its segment.

The leak also claims that the Honor X80 may come with a drop-resistant design. This could help improve durability for everyday use.
Honor is also expected to launch the device in multiple colour options. These may include Lightning Red, Mystic Black, Moon Shadow White, and Vibrant Orange.
The company has not officially confirmed the launch date or specifications yet. More details about the Honor X80 are expected to surface closer to its reported June launch window.
