RedMagic has officially confirmed the launch date of its upcoming 11S Pro smartphone. The company announced that the device will debut in China on May 18 at 3 PM local time.
The confirmation came through the brand’s official Weibo account. The teaser also suggested that the new phone will feature some form of overclocking technology. However, the company did not reveal any detailed specifications during the announcement.
The upcoming handset will be called the RedMagic 11S Pro, using a capital “S” in its branding. The model surfaced earlier through a certification listing last month, which indicated that the company was preparing a new device in the RedMagic 11 series.
The current RedMagic 11 Pro and RedMagic 11 Pro+ were launched in China in October last year. The new 11S Pro is expected to join the lineup as another gaming-focused smartphone.

At this stage, official hardware details remain unavailable. The certification listing also did not reveal information about the processor, display, battery, or camera setup.
RedMagic is likely to share more teasers and specifications before the launch event next week.
