The MCQ and Written Exam of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and Equivalent for the year 2025 is going to end on August 19, 2025. After two days, the HSC Practical Exam will be held on August 21, 2025. The Education Board authority has already published the exam routine to conduct the subject-wise exam till August 31, 2025. Those who are participating in the exam must know about the date and time.
The Inter-Education Board published the HSC Practical Routine 2025 for the Dhaka Board, Barisal, Chittagong, Dinajpur, Rajshahi, Comilla, Sylhet, Jessore, and Mymensingh Boards. Students from these boards are advised to follow the routine to attend the exam without delay.
The information has been confirmed through the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka. A notice in this regard was published on the official website under the “HSC Corner” menu. It also includes the revised exam schedule for which was postponed due to Milestone Tragedy. The notice was signed by Prof S.M. Kamal Uddin Haydar, Controller of the Examination of the Dhaka Board.
HSC Practical Routine 2025
According to the routine, the practical exam for nine general education board under Higher Secondary Board Bangladesh will be held from August 21, 2025. Students will get detailed information from the table given below.

The Education Board authority also stated that the practical exam must be completed August 31, 2025.
“The practical marks must be entered online and submitted along with the practical answer scripts, signature sheets, and other documents arranged in roll number order to the appropriate officer or his representative as per the instructions of the Board’s Examination Controller,” added in the notice.
HSC Practical Exam Time
The students who will sit for the practical exam must know the exact date and time. The exam will be start at 10 AM and continue till the time mentioned in the routine. However, students will need to enter on the exam center at least 30 or 40 minutes before the exam.
Note that, the HSC Practical Routine for all boards including Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Cumilla, Chittaong, Dhaka, and Dinajpur Board will be available at the respective exam centers. The Subject wise routine will be added in the notice board. Students will need to collect it from there. In addition, the date and time will be notified in the last day of the written exam.
This year, HSC and Equivalent Exams under Higher Secondary Board Bangladesh started on June 26, 2025, with Bangla 1st Paper. As per the report, a total of 11,16,031 students from 11 Education Board have registered for the exam. Among them, 9,32,790 from General, 84,317 from Madrasah and 98,924 from Technical Education Board.
