The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have released the RRB Junior Engineer (JE) CBT-I Result 2026 on 13 May 2026. Candidates who appeared for the examination on 19, 20 and 25 February 2026 can now check their results online.

The CBT-I result has been published for candidates applying under CEN No. 05/2025 for posts including Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant (CMA), and related vacancies.

Candidates can download the result PDF and check their qualifying status through the official RRB websites, including RRB Chandigarh and the central application portal RRB Apply Portal.

RRB JE CBT-I Result 2026 announced for 2,585 vacancies

According to the official details, the recruitment drive aims to fill 2,585 posts across different Railway Recruitment Boards in India.

The selection process includes four stages. Candidates who qualify in CBT-I will move to CBT-II, followed by document verification and a medical examination.

The CBT-I examination was conducted earlier this year in multiple shifts across the country.

Candidates can follow these steps to download the result and merit list:

  1. Visit the official regional RRB website.
  2. Open the “News & Announcements” or “CEN 05/2025” section.
  3. Click on the RRB JE CBT-I Result 2026 link.
  4. Download the result PDF.
  5. Use the search option (Ctrl + F) to find the roll number or registration number.
  6. Check the qualifying status and marks.

Merit list released region-wise

The RRB JE CBT-I merit list has been released region-wise. It contains the roll numbers of candidates shortlisted for the CBT-II stage.

The merit list may also include category-wise cut-off marks and qualifying details, depending on the regional RRB notice.

The RRB JE scorecard will contain important examination details, including the candidate’s name, registration number, exam date and normalised marks.
